Stilazzi Matte Eyeshadows Review and Swatches !!

Hi Girlz,

Today i am so excited to share with you all a  recent find that i have been enjoying a lot.I recently came across this brand of really affordable makeup called 'Stilazzi'.Since i wanted to try some  stuff from them i thought of ordering some matte eyeshadows as i wanted to build up my collection of neutral matte's.

Availabilty-Currently they are only available online at stilazzi.com and frendsbeauty.com  .I got them from frendsbeauty .

Price- Matte retail for $3 and Pearl for $3.50 for 3.5g of product which is almost double of the amount you get in a MAC or Makeupgeek eyeshadow for much less of the price.

Pigmentation and Texture-These are some of the very pigmented matte eyeshadow's i have tried so far.They are not at all drying and are very easy to blend.They are soft to touch and have an amazing color payoff.What you see in the pan is what goes on your lids.The shadows are very true to the color in the pan.

MS stands for -Matte Shadows.

Lasting power-I have worn them for about 8 hrs a day and they lasted well without creasing or fading.

Shade Range-There is a huge shade range to choose from and different types of finishes ranging from Matte's to pearl's.

These come in a pan and with a magnetic sticker. You will have to put them in a Zpalette.Since the pans are large , 10 of these could fit into a large Zpalette.

For me their quality compares to a lot of highend eyeshadows keeping in mind their affordable price.You can also get a 10% discount when you sign up for the frendsbeauty newsletter.

All in all i am loving these and am sure they are going to last me a long time since they are so huge.

Depotting Eyeshadows -Simple and Easy way !

Hi Girlz,

Today i wanted to post a quick post on how i depotted my eyeshadows.For a long time i have been wanting to take out the eyeshadows from their original packaging and place them together in a palette so that i reach for them more often as i tend to reach for palette's more rather than individual eyeshadows.

So here is a quick way on how i depotted my eyeshadows.Thing that you need for these are -

1. Eyeshadows that you would like to depot
2. A dropper -i used a Straw as i did not have a dropper at that time
3. Rubbing Alcohol
4. Empty Palette-I used my Elf Custom compacts.
5. A Sharp Edgy thing to take out the eyeshadows pans from the original containers.
6. Paper Towel
7. Magnetic Sheets/Magnet.

Just pick up a few drops of Rubbing alcohol with your dropper and drop a few drops on all the four corners of the eyeshadow you wish to depot.Leave it for 10 seconds and then use the sharp pointy object to lift the pan from the container.Alcohol helps to weaken the glue bond under the pan and therefore you will be able to easily lift the pan.I would suggest cleaning a little glue that is left on the back of the pan with the rubbing alcohol with a paper towel .Stick on a magnet to your pan and just place the pan in your empty palette .Your palette is ready to use.

This is an easy and a fast way as compared to the melting method of depotting.You just have to be a little careful while picking up the pans so that you don't break your eyeshadows.Also if you do happen to break any eyeshadow,just mix some rubbing alcohol and press the shadow down and it will be ready to use.

New Makeup at the Drugstore !!!

Today i am here to share with you all ,some new makeup i have spotted at the drugstore.Yesterday i went to Walgreens and saw a ton of makeup that was entirely new.Without further delay lets look at the exciting new makeup from different brands.

1.Makeup Brushes from Revlon

Revlon has launched its line of makeup brushes.There was one brush on the display to touch and feel.It really felt soft.For drugstore these seem a little on the expensive side though.

2.Five different mascara's from Revlon

There were five different types of mascara's displayed ,each for a different purpose -

• Ultimate All in one-5 benefits in one-Volume,length,definition,lift and intense color
• Ultra Volume-Triple grooves designed to hold formula for maximum volume.
• Super Length-Tapered tip for coating even the smallest lashes.
• Volume length + magnified-Square brush designed to anchor formula to lashes for intense volume and length.
• Dramactic Definition-Tiered Bristles for defining and separating every lash 

3.Loreal Velvet soft ,gel to powder technology eyeshadows

4.Rimmel contour ,blush and highlighter palette

I saw three different shade range for these

• Fair Skin
• Fair to Medium
• Medium to dark

5.Milani Moisture lock oil infused lip treatments

These were available with eight different types of oil infusions-

• 01-Moisturizing Almond Coco-Coconut oil infused lip treatment with vitamin E-Alleviates cracking and dryness.
• 02-Healing Lemon Honey-Lemon oil infused lip treatment with Vitamin C -Brightens and purifies.
• 03-Rejuvenating peach mango-Peach seed oil infused lip treatment with Vitamin E-rich in anti-aging properties.
• 04-Conditioning Grapeseed-Grapeseed oil infused Lip treatment with Vitamin E-Nourishes and soothes.

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadows Review and Swatches !!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.Today i wanted to share with you all ,the 'Customizable eyeshadow palette' from BUXOM, i bought a month ago.I got two of these palette's-a shimmer and a matte.I have been wearing these eyeshadows contionously for a month now .So i thought of sharing my views on these.

Price-$40 for an eyeshadow palette with six refillable eyeshadows.

Shade Selection-You have a wide variety of matte's,satin's,duo-chrome and shimmer's to choose from (40 shades i guess ).

Pigmentation and Texture-These are highly pigmented shadows.They are very smooth and have a buttery texture.They also blend very nice without any patchiness what so ever.

Longevity-I have worn them for a max of six hours and they have lasted pretty well till the end of the day.These have a built in primer to help the shadows to last upto eight hrs.

Rating-10/10 comparable to Lorac shadows for me.

There are no cons in my opinion .I simply love these eyeshadows and i am looking foward to try more shades from this line.

ITCosmetics Live Beauty Fully all over powder brush Dupe !!!!

Hi Girlz,

Hope you all had a great thanksgiving weekend.Today i have got a very interesting brush dupe for you all.From a long time i have been wanting to try the " ITCosmetics Live beauty fully all over powder brush" ,available at Ulta for $40 ,because i like the fact that its huge and covers a larger area at one time and its soft too.But considering the price i was not convinced to spend so much on just one brush as you all know that i am all about affordable brushes.So i found a great dupe for it from ebay .You can click here to see the ebay listing.

I would say that this brush is a hair to hair dupe for the It cosmetics brush.Even though i do not own the ITCosmetics brush, i have touched that brush several times at Ulta and the bristles of this ebay one are just as soft.

The ebay brush works great in applying powder foundation and i have been using this brush for over a month now.This brush comes with the similar king of plastic brush protector as the ITcosmetics one and has the same print on the brush "Live Beauty Fully" but it does not have the logo of ITCosmetics (obviously ).The make of the brush is very sturdy and i have washed it several times and it has not shed .

Price for the ebay brush-$2.99 + $3.99(shipping)

which is way way less than the ITCosmetics one ($40)

Rating -9/10 ( i would love to give it 10/10 but i am deducting a point only due to the fact that it takes 3 weeks to reach ,which is the case for all ebay purchases.)

All in all i would totally recommend this brush to you all.Its totally worth it.

Pink October-Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hi Girlz.

As we are heading towards the month of October, i have 

teamed up with Glamulet to raise awareness to prevent 

breast cancer.Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), 

also referred to in America as National Breast Cancer 

Awareness Month (NBCAM), is an annual international 

health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities 

every October to increase awareness of the disease and 

to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, 

diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers 

information and support to those affected by breast cancer.

NBCAM was founded in 1985 as a partnership between 

the American Cancer Society and the pharmaceutical division

of Imperial Chemical Industries (now part of AstraZeneca, 

producer of several anti-breast cancer drugs). The aim of the 

NBCAM from the start has been to promote mammography 

as the most effective weapon in the fight against breast 

cancer.

 for breast cancer.

Today is bargain time again and i wanted to share the 'Look Alike' for the brushes in 'Sigmax Precision Kit of 5 brushes'.You guys know i love trying new budget friendly makeup tools.So i decided to try these and see how well they work.I got them from Dresslink.com .You can click here to have a look.

I don't own the Sigmax brushes so i can't say whether they are dupe's for them but here i will talk about the quality and the performance of these brushes .

Quality-These brushes are very soft to the touch.I use these brushes for several purposes.These have synthetic bristles .The handle of the brushes is made of wood and the ferrule of aluminum. I use them for -

•  Blending my under-eye concealer 
• For Blending my eyeshadows
• For applying highlighter
• For contouring on the sides of the nose

These brushes work well .They are available in 8 different colors -Silver White/Sliver Black/Gold Black/Gold White/Silver Pink/Silver Blue/Pure Black/Gold Pink .I have washed these brushes several times and they have not shed on me till now.I got them a month back.
