The Bargains -Benjabelle Brush Drying Tree Dupe !!

Today i have found an amazing dupe which i want to share with you guys.I have partly shared it with you in my Wish list which you can check out by clicking here.So i finally got all the products i have been eyeing over and one of them is the 'Brush Tree'

This brush tree is clearly a dupe for the 'Benjabelle Brush Drying Tree ' . Lets look into the tree i got from Dress Link.Click here to have a look.

It has three parts as you can see in the picture's.

Part A goes in Part B and then they are both attached to part c.Its super easy to put them together.

• The tree is made of Acrylic and Rubber.
• It has slots for drying 4 large,4 medium and 12 thin brushes.
• The slots hold the brushes well in place at the time of drying.
• Major advantage is since the brushes are dried upside down it prevents water seeping into the ferrule of the brush.
• It is available at Dresslink.com for $ 10.34 which is fraction of the price of the Benjabelle brush tree.
• Its can be safely collapsed for storage purposes.
• It is not as pretty as the Benjabelle Brush tree but totally solves the purpose.

All in all it perform the job very well and is totally worth it.

Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss Review And Swatches !!

Hi Girlz,

Today i am sharing with you all my views on the 'Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss' in the shade 'Luminous'. For me ,in daily life, i go more for a glossy lip than the matte Coz i love some hydration on my lips throughout the day as i have dry lips.So i am always attracted to the Lip gloss section .

Price and Availability-I purchased from CVS for $5.49. You can also purchase it from Walgreens and Walmart .Its also available on Milani's Website.

Packaging-It comes in a beautiful clear tube with golden top which looks so classy and chic keeping in mind it's a drugstore product.Also you can clearly see the shade which is great for usage and storage purposes also.

Applicator-It comes with a slightly flexible and flat doe foot applicator which applies the product evenly.

Shade Range and Finishes-It has a wide variety of shades ranging from soft nudes to deep berries.So it has almost a shade for everyone.It come is two finishes -Cream and shimmer.It has i believe around 15 shades to choose from.I picked up the shade 'luminous'.

Swatches of the shade 'Luminous'

Luminous is a sheer peach with slight gold shimmer's in it.The shimmers are very fine and you will not feel them at all on your lips .It makes my lips look so shinny and gives them a fuller effect.

Pigmentation-I would say it has a sheer to medium pigmentation.If you want to have just a slight tint of color you can go in with one layer otherwise you can make the color pop a little more by applying more.

Smell-It has very strong sweet cake like smell.Personally i don't mind that but for people who do not like any smell at all ,its probably not for them. 

Product- The Lip Gloss itself, i feel ,is a bit sticky .I generally do not like sticky Lip Glosses but this one gives me so much hydration that it almost compensates for the stickiness.

Wear Time-It last only upto 2 to 3 hrs but fades very evenly.I usually like topping it over a lipstick and i must say it does not budge my lipstick at all and i really like that.

Overall,i really like the Lip Gloss and would certainly like to try more shades from this line.

The Bargains-Part 1 (C)-MAC 224 Tapered Blending brush Ebay Dupe Review !!

Hi Girlz,

Today i am sharing with you all another amazing brush i found across Ebay while hunting for affordable brushes.

I really wanted to try the MAC Cosmetics brush 224 but could not convince myself to spend $32 for one eyeshadow brush as a beginner .So i started hunting for similar brushes across ebay and finally bought a 224 tapered blending brush without MAC logo on it.

This is how the MAC Cosmetics 224 Tapered blending brush looks like.

And this is the 224 brush i bought from ebay.

Price and availability -I paid 81 cents + free shipping for this brush from ebay.It is available from a variety of sellers from ebay.Just type in '224 brush' in the search bar and you will get a lot of sellers selling this brush.I am attaching a link to one of those sellers,click here to see.

About the Brush-The brush has synthetic bristles. It has no company name on it.It has just 224 printed on it.I use this brush for blending my eyeshadow and it does an awesome job .The bristles are very soft and do not shed at all.The brush is fairly dense as you can see in the pictures above.I have been using this brush for 2 years now and it is still going strong.Similar to the MAC brush it is nicely tapered at the top.The ferrule of the brush is pretty sturdy even after so many washes.

All in all,i feel its a great bargain and i am very happy with the purchase. You girls must give this brush a try.For the Price,its well worth it.

I have also tried other brushes from ebay which i will be covering in my future posts so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Review And Swatches- Maybelline Nail Polish-804-Plum As You Are and Santee Nail Art Pen !!

Today i have a very interesting 2 in 1 post  to share.Its a combined review of the Maybelline nailpolish in 'Plum As You Are' and the 'Santee Nail art Pen in white' i got from Daiso Japan Store (click here to see my haul) .


Price -I got the Maybelline Nailpolish for just $1 from the dollar tree and the Nailart pen from Daiso Japan Store for $1.50 .

Color-The Maybelline Nailpolish is in the shade 804-Plum As You Are.Its a very dark shade of plum as the name suggests.Its has brownish red undertones to it and leans more towards blackish plum.Its more of a fall color but for me i like to wear all shades of color throughout the year.

Product-The Maybelline Nailpolish goes on nicely but you have to put two coats for a nice opaque finish.It dries super fast and that's what i like about these nailpolishes.From the Picture's you can see that with just one coat the opaqueness is not what i wanted for a perfect manicure so i applied the second coat.

This is the look after the second coat.

Then i thought of using my Santee Nail art pen in the color white.For testing purposes i thought of doing the simplest nail art with dots all over on one finger and then straight line dots on others and this is how it turned out.I must say that the tip of the nail art pen is very fine and on a little pressure on the tube it dispenses just the right amount of product.

It has a pin on the tip for security so that the product does not  leak when it is not in use.I really like that.

And this is what my completed nail art looks like !

I am super impressed by this pen.It also has a striper brush which i will be using in my future posts with a different color.

Overall,for the price,both the Nailpolish and the Nail art pen are amazing .Particularly i am super impressed with the Nail Art pen.

Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer With Monoi Oil

Hi Girlz,

Today i am sharing my thoughts on the 'Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer With Monoi Oil'.

This product was sent to me complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

This is a very different, form of the inshower moisturizer, from the one's i have used till now.

Price and Availability-It is available at the different drugstore.I checked it online at at Walgreens it is listed for $7.99 whereas at walmart it is for $6.84  for 10 FL Oz.It comes in three different types  -Monoi oil,Green Tea Oil and Coconut oil.

How to Apply-The method to apply it is different.It had to be applied on wet skin( as the name suggests) after showering but before drying off.There is no need to rinse it off.Simply pat dry and you are ready to go.

Smell-It has a nice subtle smell which is not too overwhelming.

My Experience- First of all it was so difficult to train my mind to use the moisturizer in a different way than i am used too.. lol. Anyways i applied as directed .I have to say that the product is very creamy .My skin did feel a lot softer as i have extremely dry skin and i think this method worked great for it.My skin did have a glow afterwards.But i have to say that the excess moisturizer is wiped off with your towel which means it gets on to your towel and i did not like that feeling ( i have an OCD for cleanliness ).Also i did find that it irritated my freshly shaved skin a little as i have super sensitive skin.

Overall- I do like this product but is it really necessary to add on if you already have moisturizers lying around.That's a question to consider.If you are one like me who loves to try new products ,it surely is worth trying ,you won't be disappointed.

Review and Swatches of the Ellefar Princess Chiffon Eyeshadow Quad !!

Hi Girlz,

Today i am sharing my thoughts on the 'Ellefar Princess Chiffon Eyeshadow Quad' that i bought from Daiso Japan Store in my haul.If you want to see my haul you can click here.

Price- I got this for $1.50 from Daiso Japan Store.

Packaging-It has super cute packaging as you can see in the pictures.The only thing i don't like about is that the eyeshadow colors have no name.Also the Company name is printed on the plastic packaging only.Once you rip it off the actual eyeshadow quad has no name on it.

Product-It comes with a sponge tip applicator which is larger on one end than the other end.I really like it for putting the highlighting shades in the inner corner of my eyes.

The quad has all shimmery eyeshadows.Top left to right we have a white color and a creamy champagne color.Bottom left to right we have Bronze color and a grey color with blue undertones.

All the colors are soft to touch but the top two are a little chalky for my liking.

Also the top two colors are not that pigmented but the bottom two are pigmented and are my favorite in this quad.

All the colors are easily blendable .They last on the lids with a primer for about 4 to 5 hours.

All in all its a decent quad for the price you pay but obviously not a must have.

Review And Swatches -Wet N Wild Centerstage Collection Shimmer Palette in "Hollywood Boulevard"

Today i am sharing my thoughts on the 'Wet N Wild Centerstage Collection Shimmer Palette in Hollywood Boulevard'.Wet n wild has really amped up their game by recently introducing this new shade in the shimmer palette's of the Centerstage Collection .So now the three shades in this line are -'Rose Golden Goddess,Rose Champagne Glow and Hollywood Boulevard'.Earlier there was a shade called 'Carnival In Rio' which i believe now is discontinued.I have never tried any of their shimmer palette's so i decided to try Hollywood Boulevard.

Price And Availabilty-I got this at CVS for $5.99 for 0.4oz of product.It is also available at Walgreens,drugstore.com and i also saw it at Target this past weekend.

I swatched first by swirling all the colors in the pan.

Then i carefully picked up the golden and the pink colors separately for the purpose of swatching.

Without Flash- From Top To Bottom-Top Shade-Swatch of the golden shade,middle-swatch of the pink vein and bottom one-all of them together.

Pigmentation and Texture-The product is very soft  to touch and is a beautiful neutral champagne highlighter with very fine shimmer's.Don't be worried about the shimmer's as most of it disappears on application and you are left with a beautiful glow on the skin.It is very pigmented and creamy .

Application-It is very easy to apply and blend.I used a fan brush for the application.

Appearance-It has that domed ,raised shape .As you can see it has a beautiful pink and brown veins running throughout the pan . It looks beautiful applied on the high points of the cheek.

Suitability For Skin Type's- I find that it is a very neutral color that will look good on all types of skin tone's whether cool or warm.

Staying power-It lasted on my dry skin for around 5 to 6 hrs.

Overall i just loved this highlighter.Thank GOD now we have some affordable highlighter at the drugstore to count on.
