Review And Swatches -Maybelline Newyork Color Show Nailpolish -Navy Narcissist !!

Hi Girlz,

Today i want to share with you all the cheapest and my most favorite nail polish in the color blue.It is the 'Maybelline Newyork Color Show Nailpolish in the color-Navy Narcissist '

Price and Availability-I am on its third bottle right now and i always get it from the dollar tree for $1.

Color-Its a beautiful deep navy blue color with subtle shimmers .Its so pretty i have nothing like this in my collection.

Pigmentation-Its is very pigmented .One coat gives me super opaque color as you can see in the picture's below.Its not streaky at all and is very creamy and easy to apply.Also the best thing about it is it dries super fast.

Lasting power-With a top coat it lasts on my nails for about 3 to 4 days .

All in all,for $1 ,its the best blue shade of nailpolish i own and will continue to buy it.

Review And Swatches- Maybelline Nail Polish-804-Plum As You Are and Santee Nail Art Pen !!

Today i have a very interesting 2 in 1 post  to share.Its a combined review of the Maybelline nailpolish in 'Plum As You Are' and the 'Santee Nail art Pen in white' i got from Daiso Japan Store (click here to see my haul) .


Price -I got the Maybelline Nailpolish for just $1 from the dollar tree and the Nailart pen from Daiso Japan Store for $1.50 .

Color-The Maybelline Nailpolish is in the shade 804-Plum As You Are.Its a very dark shade of plum as the name suggests.Its has brownish red undertones to it and leans more towards blackish plum.Its more of a fall color but for me i like to wear all shades of color throughout the year.

Product-The Maybelline Nailpolish goes on nicely but you have to put two coats for a nice opaque finish.It dries super fast and that's what i like about these nailpolishes.From the Picture's you can see that with just one coat the opaqueness is not what i wanted for a perfect manicure so i applied the second coat.

This is the look after the second coat.

Then i thought of using my Santee Nail art pen in the color white.For testing purposes i thought of doing the simplest nail art with dots all over on one finger and then straight line dots on others and this is how it turned out.I must say that the tip of the nail art pen is very fine and on a little pressure on the tube it dispenses just the right amount of product.

It has a pin on the tip for security so that the product does not  leak when it is not in use.I really like that.

And this is what my completed nail art looks like !

I am super impressed by this pen.It also has a striper brush which i will be using in my future posts with a different color.

Overall,for the price,both the Nailpolish and the Nail art pen are amazing .Particularly i am super impressed with the Nail Art pen.

LA Colors Eyeshadow Palette In Trendy-Review !!!

Today ,as the tittle suggests, i am sharing my thoughts over the $1 'Trendy' eye shadow palette from LA Colors.I got this recently from the dollar tree as you must have seen in my dollar tree haul.If you missed on that you can check it out by clicking here.

I wore this palette twice over the last weekend.So lets get into what i think about this palette.

Firstly,there are 12 colors in this palette and all are neutral colors as you can see in the pic below.

The palette comes with a regular two ended sponge applicator and a plastic protective sheet over the eyeshadows.

Packaging

This is a very light in weight palette and the packaging is very cheaply made.Keeping in mind it is just for a $1 i do not mind the packaging as i was more keen on the product inside.The top cover is so light that if you drop it a few times it would definitely shatter into pieces.

Swatches 

Below is a picture of the swatches of all the colors without any primer.

First Row from the Top of the palette-Colors from Left to right.

Third row from Left to Right-

Some of the colors are extremely similar when swatched.

As you may be able to see the colors have a decent pigmentation if not intense but i like to use the palette on no makeup ,makeup days or on days where you want to go subtle on eye-makeup and want to go with bold lips.This palette has no shimmer or glitter but the eyeshadows have a subtle sheen to them which i really like.

You can intensify the pigmentation of the eyeshadow colors a little if applied over a primer .

This palette can be good for beginners keeping in mind the price.The eyeshadows are easily blendable though but do not last for a long time.They lasted for 3 to 4 hours.

Conclusion

Pros:-

• Super affordable -just for $1
• Decent Pigmentation
• Easily available at dollar tree
• Wide variety of colors
• Excellent for beginners or makeup lovers on a budget
• Good for minimal makeup days 
• Compact and lightweight ,so good for travelling

Cons-

• Cheap packaging
• Last only for 3 to 4 hours

All in all,its a good bang for your buck,specially if you are on a budget. The only thing I don't understand is why have they kept the name of this palette as 'Trendy' as there is nothing trendy about the colors.. ;)).I would definitely recommend it to try .For $1 its a decent palette to add to your collection.

Dollar Tree Haul !!

Hi Girlz,

Today i am back with another haul and Dollar tree is one of my favorite places to shop for when i am on a budget (which happens often ).So last weekend i went to my local dollar tree just to look out for some drawer organizers and  of course as usual i ended up buying much more than i needed.

So lets get into what i got.

Firstly i got Three Nail polish .

• Maybelline  Newyork Color Show nail polish in the Color-Navy Narcissist-100.Really like this one.Its a very pretty shade of royal Blue.Love It.

• Then i got the Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail polish in 190 Entice.Its a pretty sea green color.

• Then i got this Milani Nailpolish in the shade 33A Mulberry Sugar.Its a dark reddish brown shade with very fine golden shimmer.

Loved the fact that i got these pretty nail lacquers for $1 each.

I have been wanting to try for a long time this eyeshadow palette from LA Colors and i finally picked it up.Its the 12 color eyeshadow palette in "Trendy".It is a neutral eyeshadow palette but 12 colors for $1 you just can't beat it.

I also picked up the Carmex Lip balm in the tube form.Have heard good things about it so wanted to try.

Then finally i picked up these white drawer organizers.They are really sturdy and look cool to store little makeup things .
