Coastal Scents Hot Pots Review and Swatches !!

Hi Girlz,

Today as the tittle suggests,this post is all about the Coastal Scents Hot pots.I have been using these Hot pots for the past one year now.I am a big sucker for good eyeshadows and whenever a new brand pops up at the drugstore,I am always inclined to try their eyeshadows(I certainly do not need more ).

Even though its not a new product , I love them so much ,that I could not stop myself from sharing my thoughts on them with you guys.

Availabilty –They are only available at Coastalscents.com .I really wish we had an access to the coastalscents makeup at the drugstore’s..sighhhh!!

Finishes-These Hot Pots comes in a variety of shade range and three different type of finishes.They come in Shimmer,Satin and Matte finishes.

Price-These retail for $1.95 each for 0.05oz of product(same as that of a MAC eyeshadows) .The good thing is that coastal scents often has sale on these Hot Pots and you can get them for as low as 99 cents.I did get all of mine at the time of sale.So that’s a real bargain for the quality of the HOT POTS.

Quality-Hot Pots have often been compared to the MAC eyeshadows as people have often found dupes of their MAC eyeshadows in these Hot Pots.These eyeshadows are soft,creamy and not chalky at all except the matte one(which is a little chalky ).They blend easily and are not patchy at all.The eyshadows are pigmented but the only thing I feel is that the pigments show much better with an eyeshadow base on.So I highly recommend applying  an eyeshadow primer underneath.

Overall-I highly recommend you guys to pick up some of them on sale as for the price ,these are some great affordable eyeshadows with specially an eyeshadow base.

BIRCHBOX - MAY 2015

Hi my style lovers.

Today I am here to share with you the Birchbox I got for the first time. It is for the month of May 2015. I got it by using the code that I got from the amazing beautyguru Tati on youtube.I am sure all of you already know her but if you are not subscribed to her channel click here to subscribe.

So lets get into what I got in this box:-

 

 

First product I got is my favorite and is the sample of +Coastal Scents  'Revealed 3 eyeshadow Palette'.Product weight-2.4g.I so wanted to try this.

 

 

 

 

 

 The Second product included in the box is a sample of  'Number 4 Super Comb Prep & Protect hair spray'.Product weight 30ml.It says on the bottle that its is a leave-in conditioner with instant detangling and is ideal for all hair types.It provides color protection and UV shield . I will have to test this out on my dry brittle wavy hair to actually see if it does what it claims.

 

Third product I got is 'Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator'.It is an exfoliating cleanser enriched with Papaya micro-crystals and Aloe. Product weight 20g.

 

The product claims to improve the skin texture and claims to brighten it. I will test it out and update for that. 

 

 

 

 

Fourth product included is 'Marcelle Hydra-C 24H Energizing Hydrating Gel ' .Product weight- 0.24 oz .There are no claims on the tube I received. It only mentions to use it on a clean skin in the morning alone or under makeup. On its website it states that it is a lightweight gel formula which delivers nutrient-packed moisture that lasts all day, perking up and protecting your complexion.

 

 

The last product but not the least is 'English Laundry Notting Hill Femme Eau de Parfum'

Straight away I can tell you that I love this perfume.I started using it the day I received the box. I love the fragrance of it. Its sweet ,wonderful, lasts all day and I will definitely be purchasing the full bottle once the sample runs out as I am a big perfume junkie

 

 

 

 Final Verdict-All in all I really like the box specially the eyeshadow sample and the perfume.
